From February to April 2014, our commission deployed a nationwide special rectification action on drinking water pipes and fittings, organized local health and family planning departments to carry out health and safety sampling inspection on drinking water pipes and fittings, and found that 17 products were unqualified. Now the list of unqualified products will be published (see Annex).

In view of the problems found in the spot check, our committee has instructed the local health and family planning administrative departments to deal with the unqualified products and relevant responsible units according to law. Our commission will continue to strengthen the supervision and sampling inspection of drinking water safety products.
